London Bagel Museum – Now Open in Jeju!
Located along the scenic coastal road in Gujwa-eup, Jeju, the London Bagel Museum Jeju branch officially opened its doors in April 2023, marking the brand’s highly anticipated expansion beyond Seoul. After the success of its Anguk and Dosan locations, this beloved bagel spot has finally made its way to Jeju Island.
Set in a two-story, 72-pyeong (approx. 2,500 sq. ft.) building, the Jeju location brings the same charm and signature style that made its Seoul locations famous. In fact, it was such a significant addition to the area that an existing café moved to a neighboring building to make space for it.
With its stylish atmosphere, iconic branding, and sought-after bagels, London Bagel Museum in Jeju has quickly become a must-visit stop for foodies and travelers alike.

Just like its Seoul counterparts, the London Bagel Museum in Jeju draws early-morning crowds with long lines forming right before its 8:00 AM opening. However, on weekdays, once the initial rush settles, customers are often able to purchase bagels without much hassle.
While driving along the scenic coastal road, I spotted the Jeju location and noticed that guests were walking in without a wait—a rare sight! I decided to stop by and was lucky enough to get my hands on a pretzel bagel and a sesame bagel, both just before they sold out. On weekdays, most items tend to sell out by around 4:00 PM, so visiting earlier in the day is highly recommended if you want the best selection.
I had long heard about the reputation of London Bagel Museum, but hadn’t had the chance to try it—until now. Luckily, I finally got to experience what all the hype was about.
The first thing that stands out is the sheer size of the bagels—they're as big as an adult’s palm and noticeably thick. But what’s even more surprising is the texture. When sliced, the bagel feels almost like cutting through soft, chewy rice cake—smooth, dense, and incredibly moist.
Taking a bite, I was immediately impressed. The chewiness and moisture go far beyond any ordinary bagel. It’s not just bread—it’s on another level entirely, offering a texture and taste that truly set it apart.
But the flavor of the London Bagel Museum bagel? It was so good, I couldn’t stop. No matter how full I was, the taste made it impossible to give up.
London Bagel Museum is the brainchild of founder Hyojeong Lee, who launched the brand after a successful career in the fashion industry. Inspired by her extended stay in London—where she drew creative influence from spots like Monmouth Coffee—she brought a distinct London vibe to Korea, which now lives on through this beloved bagel brand.
While the west side of Jeju is known for places like Randy’s Donuts and Knotted, the north shore now boasts a rising star of its own. With the opening of London Bagel Museum, it’s quickly becoming one of Jeju’s hottest new destinations.
