With a history spanning over 100 years, Itoya offers a unique and charming contrast to Ginza’s glamorous surroundings.

A Legacy of Tradition
Founded in 1904, Itoya began as a small stationery store and has since grown into a globally recognized destination for stationery lovers. Located in the heart of Ginza, the flagship store underwent a major transformation in 2015, rebranding itself as G. Itoya. The redesigned store features a luxurious exterior and spacious interior, stretching across 12 floors filled with stationery, travel goods, home items, and more.

Itoya’s 12-story building is thoughtfully arranged, with each floor dedicated to a specific theme or category.

On the 3rd floor, visitors can find over 1,200 types of writing instruments, while the 7th floor offers more than 1,000 kinds of paper. Each floor has knowledgeable staff available for consultation and recommendations. Uniquely, the 11th floor features a hydroponic vegetable garden, and the vegetables grown there are used as fresh ingredients in the café and restaurant on the 12th floor.
