Toyocho Ramen Baraya (東陽町らぁ麺ばらや)
Located near Exit 1 of Toyocho Station in Tokyo, Japan, “Ramen Baraya” (東陽町らぁ麺ばらや) is a local ramen shop that impresses with its carefully prepared broth and toppings.
Just a short walk from Hotel East 21 Tokyo, this ramen spot stands out for the attention given to every bowl. Even when I visited late on a weekday evening—around 10 PM—there were still customers dining inside, and more kept arriving while I was eating.
I ordered their recommended special menu item, which came topped generously with seasoned egg, chashu pork, and other classic Japanese ramen toppings. It was the very first bowl of ramen I had during my first trip to Japan, and it left a lasting impression. The flavor was deep, comforting, and truly memorable.
